JA and TZP

As Shyam Benegal said pointing at protests against Jodhaa Akbar "We are less tolerant now" Even in Mughle Azam J was portrayed as A's wife and no one made mess that time. Is it because Ashutosh Gowarikar could not write "all characters are fictitious and any resemblence to any person living or dead is purely conincidental" ( Role reversal of Jodhaa and Akbar would have resulted in fatwa ( wat say :) ). He has stated that it is a fiction, he is trying to show here. Next what, we see an uprising against JK Rowling for calling us Muggles. ( Oh Did you think you were part of wizards... )
This has more connotation that what is apparent to us. INTOLERANT - We are becoming impatient. We want something back for all the action we do and we dont have time to perform our duties which do not ensure us the returns.Raj Thackeray accusing UPites for taking away jobs from the Sons of the soils. People are taking law into their hands beating up the culprits ( even a small boy ) for petty theft. Police is more than happy about this, less responsibility for them :) The behaviour exhibited by the adults, 24 by 7 news channels ( same clips being played again and again ) gets imprinted in the minds of children. We have seen rising violence in kids too.
Along with intolerance we are becoming judgemental and less accepting. Does it take a Taare Zameen Par to teach us about Acceptance.

English Shayari

tears come till my cheeks,
turns the eye red,
but lightens the heavy heart ,
to seek further,
to put your face ahead.

Breeze blows across the face,
dries the trails of beads,
ether of coolness
forgets the worth of the dews
dropped from the windows of the world.

a poem supposedly

Walking on the straight lane,
thinking that to be my destiny,
They stopped, 'you are made for that'
Thought about it.

Walking on the new lane,
thinking that to be my destiny,
They stopped, 'you toil on the way'
Thought about it.

Working hard on the new lane,
thinking that to be my destiny,
They stopped, 'You harvest the toil'
Thought about it.

Harvesting the reap on the lane,
thinking that to be my destiny,
They stopped, 'You harvested grass'
Thought about it.

Failing to tread on the lane,
thinking that to be my destiny,
They stopped, 'You are made for that'
thought about it.

Walking on the straight lane,
working the best of me,
They stopped, not hearing the words,
Thought about it naught.

Finally letting out a Blog

I am writing admist all the work i have.. U can imagine the urge for me to write this. Thanks to Vinni and other guys whose blogs i have just been commenting and too lazy to write my own blog :) But the credit goes to 5 letters which is responsible for all my emotions. MUSIC . Underline, Bold, Colour, Not needed it will always stand out :D

My first blog would be a tribute to the Music and the horde of singers i go gaga on.

With KK 's album Humsafar - Aasman ke, I was feeling guilty that I out grow the love for the amazing music these people ( esp Atif Aslam ) create. For me music is more magical than falling in love, making someone smile, everything nice. For me music is something which transforms into love , smile, happiness. In every action there is music. In every move there is music. May be that is why I am into dance, my second passion.

When I heard Tere Bin, woh lamhe, Jal ... Finally DOORIE, I was confirmed, It is Atif, whom I have been searching for all these years. Hold ur horses ... The perfect singer hehhe. Yeah he does look cute too. For a person who does not believe in any one being any one's Fan, bcoz everyone's special and the best in their own way. But infront of his voice ( in the end ) nothing else matters.

Then I sat and downloaded all the songs of him.. Different versions. Man I was crazy. I went sang Atif 's song ( Guy Part ) Ik Din Ayega and got kicked out of the Auditions. No regrets. That female cant understand the passion which comes out more than the tone, voice, Sur taal. People appreciate me dancing for this reason.. and hate me for the same singing, I will continue singing. Its a mixed response.

But I heard the song Pehli Nazar Mein - ATIF ASLAM. Yippie Love to have him back topping the Hot fav list ;) BTW LIC ke ad mein the guy with kaleidoscope looks like Atif .. ooohh
The list goes something like this as far as I remember and not going too deep else whole WWW will not be enuf to contain the data

Ilayaraja,
AR Rehman,
Shankar Ehshaan Loy,
Lucky Ali,
Shaan,
Karthik,
Kunal Ganjawala,
ATIF ASLAM,
Kunal Ganjawala ,
Mithoon,
Shaan,
Kunal Ganjawala,
Sonu Nigam,
KK,
Sonu Nigam,
Mithoon,
Kunal Ganjawala,
Abhijeet Sawant,
Mithoon,
KK,
Atif Aslam,
ATIF ASLAM :)

Insert AR Rehman everywhere. This is considering only Indian music... man i can go on and on :)
I decided yesterday that on my ring ceremony I want John Denver 's Annie 's song be played. :) if the guy can sing it to for me. Am i asking for too much. How abt guitar too ;) and other instruments too. ( Blushing Blushing .. :D )

But one thing I dont understand is.. I used to think Shaan is the best singer in the world, Then came Atif and then KK and now Atif again. How can they make me change my stand. They sweep me away from my feet. I love them for the ability to create such great music. I can try as much as possible to sing ( and be the best too one day ) but I can never create music like them. Thats why I bow infront of them .. Bow Bow
